We train with our suppliers & manufactures to service, repair & install all major NZ brands names of hot water systems. 
We are PGDB certified plumbers, gasfitters drainlayers and electricians NZ registered and qualified, ensuring that installations are compliant with NZ standards.
We provide council inspections, compliance Crt’s for all Building consented and specialists works when required.

What warranties / guarantees do you have?

All our installations come with a 1-year workmanship guarantee to the manufacturer’s warranty for your specific product. Most modern mains pressure cylinders have up to 10 years warranty on the tank; and low pressure systems typically have five year manufacturer warranties.
All cylinders sold in NZ have one year electrical warranty covering elements and thermostats.

How much dose it cost to replace a hot water system?

Accepted Answer

if you’re replacing an existing hot water system with the same type in the same position, installation costs are relatively low, in the range of $220 to $660. If additional valves are required, or if plumbing or electrical systems require upgrades, costs will be higher.
If you need to reposition your hot water system to a different site on the property, installation costs could be another $1000 to $2000 depending on the plumbing and electrical work required.
Changing energy type, for example, switching from electric to gas, will require additional work and cost in the realm of $1500 to $3000. If you are upgrading the size of your system, additional plumbing and electrical work may be required.

We have a range of flexible payment options to support our customers if they want it. We have long term finance available with Q Card. Lending criteria, $50 annual account fee, fees, T&Cs apply.
Also have short term solutions like, after pay, plus we can except all major credit & debit cards on site safely and securely. Our options are designed to get you back in hot water quickly.

Who can install a hot water heater?

Depending on the energy source? Only a registered plumber & Gas Fitter can install a hot water cylinder in NZ. Make sure you ask for their plumbing ID to ensure you have a qualified tradesman. We have you covered!

How much does it cost to replace a hot water unit?

Accepted Answer

The simple answer is every job is different. Price is determined on energy source, the heaters size & capacity, the existing heater location, (inside outside or in a cupboard space and condition of existing pipework). The course of action is call or book us we can provide obligation free quotes and advice. We also do free hot water health checks where we can tailor the best solution to your needs. 
We understand there is never an opportune moment to replace a hot water heater so we also offer easy payment & finance options so you can spread your payments out over time.

Can you repair a hot water cylinder?

Accepted Answer

The cylinder is a pressure vessel, if the cylinder fails there are no repair options for the existing heater, you will need to replace it. However Minor repairs can be done such as replacing an element or thermostat, valves and connecting pipe work. If you suspect you may have a leak on or around your hot water heater you should isolate the heater at the energy & water supply and call us immediately.
